Writing standards
Content must match the actual browser behavior of the tool. We avoid copied competitor wording, fabricated experts, unsupported guarantees and pages made by merely swapping a product name. Troubleshooting steps must be safe and possible to perform.
Technical review
Feature claims are compared with current web-platform behavior and tested in relevant current browsers. Each guide must contain a topic-specific scope, procedure, interpretation table, mistakes to avoid and reader questions before it is eligible for indexing. Each tool names important limits and carries a last-reviewed date. Corrections are prioritized when a browser release changes permission or event behavior.
Authorship and automated assistance
The Device Test Bench Editorial Team byline identifies the maintainers accountable for publication; it is not a claim that a named engineer personally certified the hardware. Automated tools may help locate broken links, compare source hashes, lint code and flag stale translations. They do not replace review of technical claims, safety language or the behavior users see on the page.
Translation review
English is the source. A translation remains non-indexable until navigation, controls, metadata, core explanation, result interpretation, privacy, FAQ and policy text are reviewed. A changed English source hash marks dependent translations for review.
