Scope, operator and contact
This policy applies to devicetestbench.com and the browser-based services published on it. Device Test Bench is the independent operator of this domain and, where data-protection law uses the term, the controller for the limited server, preference, analytics and support data described below. External websites linked from our pages apply their own privacy notices. This policy does not claim that Device Test Bench controls Google, browser vendors, manufacturers or other third parties.
Browser test data
Keyboard input, typed passages, pointer coordinates, touch trails, webcam video, microphone audio, snapshots, gamepad identifiers and input values are processed by JavaScript in your browser. They are not uploaded to our application server and no test-result table exists.
Permissions and media
Camera and microphone access begins only after you press a Start or Record button. The browser controls the permission prompt. Active MediaStream tracks are stopped when you press Stop, leave the page, or the page remains hidden for an extended period. Short microphone playback recordings remain in browser memory and are deleted when you choose Delete or leave.
Information we receive and why
Like most web services, infrastructure may process limited delivery and security data such as request time, requested path, response status, network address, user-agent and referring page. We use it to deliver pages, diagnose failures, limit abuse and protect the service. Public tests do not require an account and test results are not saved to LocalStorage or an application database.
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, selected topic, message, language and related page path you choose to provide so we can answer the request, investigate a report or maintain a correction record. The form does not accept attachments. A rotating one-way network-address hash is used only to enforce the submission limit; the form does not store the source network address. If you email us directly, we also receive the message and any attachment you choose to send. Do not send device-test recordings, full typed text, credentials or unnecessary identifiers.
Legal bases where applicable
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, essential delivery and security processing is performed because it is necessary to provide and protect the service or for our legitimate interests in reliability and abuse prevention. Optional analytics, advertising cookies, local storage and ad personalization rely on consent where consent is required. Support communications are handled to respond to your request and maintain necessary operational records. The exact basis can depend on your region and the feature used.
Analytics
Optional analytics remains disabled unless configuration and your stored choice permit it. After opt-in, our local aggregate counter may receive allowlisted events such as tool_started, permission_denied or unsupported_browser with a tool name and broad browser family.
A consent-gated central analytics service hosted at admin.aicodelab.co.kr may also assign random visitor and session identifiers in browser storage and receive the page path and title, referrer, browser language, screen and viewport width, and allowlisted event names. Optional analytics is blocked when the browser sends an enabled Global Privacy Control or recognized Do Not Track signal. Neither analytics path is permitted to receive keys, typed text, pointer coordinates, media labels, hardware identifiers, recordings, video frames or controller input.
Google advertising services when activated
Advertising is disabled until a valid publisher account, eligible content, reviewed placement and required consent integration are configured. If Google advertising is later active on an eligible page, third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies and use local storage, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to select, deliver, measure and protect ads.
Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to this site or other sites. Depending on region and the visitor’s choices, this can include personalized or non-personalized advertising. If other third-party vendors or ad networks are enabled, their identities, purposes and privacy links are disclosed in the certified consent flow or the applicable vendor list.
For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google ad requests remain blocked unless a Google-certified consent management platform provides the required TCF signal, including consent for storing or accessing information on a device when required. Tool input such as keys, pointer coordinates, audio, video and controller values is not added to ad requests.
Recipients and international processing
Limited data may be processed by hosting, security, analytics and advertising providers only for the purposes described here. The central analytics host and, when activated, Google and participating ad technology providers may process information in countries other than yours under their own terms and applicable transfer safeguards. The certified consent interface identifies advertising vendors and links to their privacy information before consent where required.
We do not sell raw device-test input, recordings, typed text or tool results. If advertising activity is treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising” or a similar regulated use in your jurisdiction, the applicable regional message and opt-out controls are provided before that use is enabled.
Retention
Device-test input and media remain in browser memory only for the active page or until you delete or stop them. Theme and consent preferences remain in browser storage until replaced or cleared. Administrator and contact-form security cookies expire with the session. Contact-form records are normally retained for up to 180 days, unless a shorter deletion request applies or a longer period is reasonably required for security, legal obligations or a documented correction. Security and delivery logs, aggregate counters and direct-email correspondence are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations and correction records, then deleted, rotated or de-identified.
Google and other independent providers determine retention for information they process under their own notices and consent settings. Their current details are available through the certified vendor list and linked privacy pages.
Your choices and privacy rights
Use Cookie Settings to reject, revise or clear optional site categories. When a certified regional consent message is active, use its privacy options to choose advertising purposes and vendors or revoke consent. You may opt out of personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and participating industry tools. You can also clear site data and permissions in your browser. Rejecting optional categories does not disable the device tests.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection regarding personal data we control, and may appeal or complain to a competent authority. Send a “Privacy request” to aicodelab.tony@gmail.com. We may verify the request proportionately and will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Global Privacy Control and regional opt-outs
An enabled Global Privacy Control or recognized Do Not Track signal prevents optional site analytics from loading. Advertising remains disabled until all activation and regional consent gates pass. Where applicable, a certified US-state or European privacy message supplies the relevant sale, sharing, targeted-advertising, storage and vendor controls. A browser signal is not a substitute for choices that a provider must collect through its certified message, but we do not use it to turn optional analytics back on.
Children
Device Test Bench is a general-audience troubleshooting service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or collect their device-test input. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information through a support message, contact us so the material can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate. Advertising must not be configured as personalized child-directed advertising.
Security, updates and complaints
We use HTTPS, access controls, output escaping, restricted administrator sessions and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. The review date shown on this page is updated when the policy materially changes. If a change requires new consent, optional processing remains off until the required choice is obtained.
