Direct answer
What these Mouse & Click browser tests can tell you
Use these tests to compare button events, wheel direction, click intervals, pointer movement and browser event timing. Repeated observations help separate an isolated page issue from behavior that also occurs in other applications or connections.
Useful starting points
- A button, side button or wheel action is missing
- Single clicks sometimes appear as a double click
- Pointer movement, click speed or browser event frequency needs comparison
Evidence shown in the browser
- Pointer and mouse button press and release events
- Wheel deltas, click intervals and direction changes
- Browser-delivered movement timing and pointer type
Important limit
A browser cannot certify USB polling rate or prove that a physical switch, wireless link, driver or operating-system setting is faulty.
For a clearer comparison, repeat the same action, change one relevant condition at a time, and record the browser, operating-system family, date and exact visible result. Use the page title and canonical URL when sharing the observation; do not describe a browser result as hardware certification.

Mouse Test
Check five mouse buttons, pointer movement, drag, wheel direction, double click and pointer type inside one private test area.
Open test →MSMouse Button Test
Focus on left, middle, right, back and forward button events with a clear per-button status.
Open test →MSDouble Click Test
Measure intervals between clicks and flag unusually short pairs that can resemble an unintended double click.
Open test →MSScroll Wheel Test
Check upward and downward wheel events, raw delta, direction changes and the middle button.
Open test →MSClick Speed Test
Measure clicks per second, click intervals and the fastest one-second segment in a distraction-free test pad.
Open test →MSReaction Time Test
Measure the delay between a random visual signal and your click or tap, entirely in the browser.
Open test →MSMouse Polling Rate Estimator
Estimate browser pointer-event frequency and timing stability without claiming to measure certified USB firmware polling rate.
